Can I save a PDF when there is no download button?
For supported public DocSend and Speaker Deck viewers, yes. DeckExport assembles a PDF from the page images the viewer displays. Google and regular Dropbox file links need export or download permission. Use documents you have permission to save.
Which links and file types work?
DeckExport supports public DocSend and Speaker Deck presentations, Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Google Drive files, Dropbox shared files, and direct HTTPS file links. Native file conversion accepts PDFs, PNGs, and JPEGs. You can also upload a local PDF or combine local images.
Is DeckExport free to use?
Yes. DeckExport does not charge for conversions or require a DeckExport account. No watermark is added to your PDF.
What are the conversion limits?
Native files and local uploads support up to 12 MB per conversion, and PDFs can contain up to 500 pages. You can combine up to 40 local images, with 16 megapixels per image and 24 megapixels combined. Viewer capture supports up to 100 pages and 24 MB of source images, with a 4 MB and 16-megapixel limit per image. Completed PDFs must fit within the 48 MB PDF limit.
